Outwood Grange Academy is proud to welcome applications from students currently at Outwood Grange and from students who have attended other schools years 7 – 11. We want every student to succeed and therefore we look for one thing in particular from our applicants which is a willingness to learn; as long as you have this we believe we can offer a suitable curriculum.

You will need to complete an application on UCAS Progress as all our system of interviews, offers and further information is run through this.

You can read about all the A levels we offer in our Prospectus. Copies are available on our open evening or from Mrs Hinde on (01924) 204350.

Admission Criteria: We expect all students to have a willingness to learn and you should pick subjects you enjoy and are able to access. Please refer to the Prospectus as some subjects require particular grades as based on past experiences that level of knowledge is required in order to thrive.

The A level courses and BTEC qualifications (Level 3) which can be studied at Outwood Grange Post 16 Centre are listed below:

Admissions Timeline:

Outwood Grange Academy students will be attending a Post 16 opportunities assembly, during September.

We will then be hosting our Open Evening on Tuesday 11 October 2016 at 6.00pm
During December and early January we will be conducting one to one interviews with all students who have applied.

We will check that option choices fit with the chosen option blocks.

In March we will send out offers to students via post and UCAS Progress; it is essential all students respond to their offer so that they do not lose their places.

There will be induction days in the summer term and following the GCSE exam results day in August, there will be 1 to 1 enrolment.

If you have any questions or would like a tour of our Post 16 Centre then please email us:

We look forward to receiving your application and thank you for your interest.
